Community Guidelines

Last updated: February 10, 2026

1. Purpose of the Community

WhatAI's community exists to help people discover, evaluate, and use AI tools effectively. Our forum is a place for constructive discussion, real-world experience, and respectful knowledge sharing.

By participating, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines in addition to our Terms of Service.

2. Be Respectful and Constructive

We welcome diverse opinions, but all members must treat others with respect.

Allowed: Thoughtful questions and answers, constructive criticism of tools or workflows, sharing real experiences, results, and lessons learned.

Not allowed: Harassment, bullying, threats, or personal attacks. Hate speech or discriminatory language. Trolling, flaming, or intentionally disruptive behavior.

3. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited and may be removed without notice:

4. Spam and Self-Promotion

We support discussing tools and sharing recommendations — but not spam.

Not allowed: Repeated promotion of the same product or service, posting referral or affiliate links without disclosure, automated or mass-posted content, posting solely to drive traffic elsewhere.

If you are affiliated with a tool, you must clearly disclose that relationship.

5. User-Generated Content Responsibility

You are responsible for the content you post. By submitting content, you confirm that:

WhatAI does not endorse user-generated content and is not responsible for opinions expressed by users.

6. Moderation and Enforcement

We actively moderate the community to maintain quality and safety. We may take action including:

Moderation decisions are made at our discretion and are final.

How Moderation Works

  • We use automated spam filters combined with human review to monitor content
  • Reported content is prioritized for review by our moderation team
  • New and unreviewed user-generated content may have limited visibility until reviewed
  • IP-based rate limiting and banning is used to prevent abuse at scale

Ad Serving on User Content

We may limit or disable advertisements on pages containing new, unreviewed, or reported user-generated content. Ads are removed from pages that violate our content policies.

We do not allow ads to run on pages containing prohibited content, and we remove or limit ads when necessary to maintain compliance with our advertising partners' policies.

7. Reporting Content

If you see content that violates these guidelines, please report it. You must be logged in to submit a report. Each post or comment includes a flag icon where you can report with one of the following reasons:

Reporting Limits

  • Maximum 10 reports per day per user
  • You cannot report the same post or comment twice
  • You cannot report your own content
  • Filing false or abusive reports may result in action against your account

Reports are reviewed by moderators as quickly as possible.

8. Advertising and External Links

Some areas of WhatAI may display advertisements or affiliate links. Community posts should not be used as advertising space. Unauthorized promotional content may be removed.

9. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. When changes are made, the "Last updated" date will be revised. Continued use of the community means you accept the updated guidelines.
