A Moderated Community

WhatAI is a moderated community. Content may be reviewed through a combination of automated safeguards, user reporting, trusted-member controls, and manual moderation. Members who consistently follow platform guidelines may earn trusted status, allowing their posts to publish without prior approval. All visible content remains subject to moderation, reporting, and removal if it violates community standards.

1. Purpose of the Community

WhatAI's community exists to help people discover, evaluate, and use AI tools effectively. Our forum is a place for constructive discussion, real-world experience, and respectful knowledge sharing.

By participating, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines in addition to our Terms of Service.

2. Be Respectful and Constructive

We welcome diverse opinions, but all members must treat others with respect.

Allowed: Thoughtful questions and answers, constructive criticism of tools or workflows, sharing real experiences, results, and lessons learned.

Not allowed: Harassment, bullying, threats, or personal attacks. Hate speech or discriminatory language. Trolling, flaming, or intentionally disruptive behavior.

3. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited and may be removed without notice:

4. Spam and Self-Promotion

We support discussing tools and sharing recommendations — but not spam.

Not allowed: Repeated promotion of the same product or service, posting referral or affiliate links without disclosure, automated or mass-posted content, posting solely to drive traffic elsewhere.

If you are affiliated with a tool, you must clearly disclose that relationship.

5. User-Generated Content Responsibility

You are responsible for the content you post. By submitting content, you confirm that:

WhatAI does not endorse user-generated content and is not responsible for opinions expressed by users.

Public Visibility of Content

Posts, replies, comments, and profile information you share on public areas of WhatAI may be visible to other users and may appear in search engine results. Please avoid posting sensitive personal, financial, or private information.

6. Moderation and Enforcement

We actively moderate the community to maintain quality and safety. We may take action including:

Moderation decisions are made at our discretion to protect the community and platform integrity.

How Moderation Works

  • We use automated spam filters combined with human review to monitor content
  • Reported content is prioritized for review by our moderation team
  • New and unreviewed user-generated content may have limited visibility until reviewed
  • IP-based rate limiting and banning is used to prevent abuse at scale
  • Members who consistently follow our guidelines may earn trusted status over time
  • Trusted members may be allowed to publish content without prior review
  • All content, including trusted-member content, remains subject to moderation, reporting, and removal if it violates our rules

Anonymous Participation

  • Anonymous posting may be allowed in some parts of the community
  • Anonymous users are subject to stricter rate limits and feature restrictions
  • Certain features, including image uploads, may require registration

Automated Spam Filtering

All posts, replies, and comments are automatically screened for spam-like content before submission. If your content is flagged by our automated filter, you will receive a notification explaining that your submission did not pass our guidelines.

Content may be flagged if it contains multiple indicators commonly associated with:

  • Pharmaceutical or health product spam
  • Gambling or casino spam
  • Scam or phishing language (e.g. "claim now", "guaranteed income")
  • "Get rich quick" schemes or deceptive financial offers
  • Fraudulent money transfer solicitations

Our filter requires multiple spam indicators to be present before blocking a post. If you believe your post was incorrectly flagged, please revise your wording and try again, or contact us at info@whataidoineed.com.

Ad Serving on User Content

We may limit or disable advertisements on pages containing new, unreviewed, flagged, restricted, removed, or reported user-generated content. Ads are not served on content that is not explicitly approved for public visibility or that may create compliance risk under our advertising partners' policies.

Advertising may be restricted or disabled on content that is pending review, reported, flagged, restricted, or otherwise determined to present moderation or policy risk.

7. Reporting Content

If you see content that violates these guidelines, please report it. You must be logged in to submit a report. Each post or comment includes a flag icon where you can report with one of the following reasons:

Reporting Limits

  • Maximum 10 reports per 24 hours per user
  • You cannot report the same post or comment twice
  • You cannot report your own content
  • Filing false or abusive reports may result in action against your account
  • Reports may be prioritized automatically when content receives multiple reports or contains elevated-risk signals

Reports are reviewed by moderators as quickly as possible.

8. Advertising and External Links

Some areas of WhatAI may display advertisements or affiliate links. Community posts should not be used as advertising space. Unauthorized promotional content may be removed.

9. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. When changes are made, the "Last updated" date will be revised. Continued use of the community means you accept the updated guidelines.
