How are you keeping up with AI without getting overwhelmed? WhatAI haha?
**Serious question:** how is everyone staying current right now?
I’m interested in AI, use it for work, and want to understand where things are going, but the pace is getting ridiculous. New models, new benchmarks, new apps, new agent frameworks, new controversies, new policy updates... every week feels like a month.
I’m not trying to become an expert researcher. I just want a sane way to stay informed without falling into constant hype cycles.
What’s working for you?
- Specific newsletters?
- YouTube channels?
- X accounts?
- forums? WhatAI ahah
- podcasts?
- GitHub repos?
- a shortlist of tools you actually test yourself?
I’m a small business owner, so I care less about academic theory and more about what’s actually changing real workflows, real opportunities, and real risks.
Would love to know how people here filter signal from noise... a lot of fear in the voices of experts at the moment. \
Especially interested in systems, not just sources, like how you decide what’s actually worth paying attention to.
