Can TutorAI actually teach a topic from scratch or does it just answer questions?
I have been trying to teach myself basic economics in my spare time because it keeps coming up in things I read and I want to understand it properly rather than just having a vague impression of the concepts. I have tried reading textbooks but I find without someone to ask questions of when I get confused, I end up just moving forward without actually understanding what I read. I learn much better through dialogue than through reading alone.
TutorAI has been described as a tool that creates a structured learning experience around a topic you specify rather than just answering one-off questions. I want to know whether it actually provides that structured progressive learning experience or whether it is essentially just a chatbot with a learning-focused interface. The difference matters to me because I need something that builds understanding systematically rather than just responding to whatever I happen to ask next.
Has anyone used TutorAI to learn a subject from a low starting point and actually come out the other end with a solid foundation? I want to know how it structures the learning progression, whether it checks your understanding before moving on or just keeps presenting information, and how it compares to using a general AI assistant like Claude or ChatGPT for self-study. I am trying to figure out whether a dedicated learning tool offers something meaningfully different.
