Anyone actually building real apps with Lovable.dev? Legit or just “vibe coding” demos?
I keep seeing Lovable.dev promoted as a way to build full-stack apps by chatting (UI + backend + DB + auth), and people are shipping things crazy fast.
I’m tempted to use it for MVPs, but I’m trying to sanity-check whether it’s:
- genuinely usable for production-ish projects, or
- mainly good for prototypes that fall apart once you add real complexity.
**If you’ve used Lovable.dev:**
- What did you build (MVP, landing page, SaaS, internal tool)?
- How far can you get before you hit a wall?
- What breaks first: auth, database, state management, deployment, or styling consistency?
- Did you end up rewriting everything in “real code” after?
Would love honest answers and any “wish I knew this earlier” tips.
