Dream by Wombo is the only AI art tool I actually use on my phone and here is why it works for that
I have tried using other AI image generators on mobile and the experience is usually frustrating. Small interfaces, long load times, prompts that are hard to type carefully on a keyboard, results that take too long. Dream by Wombo is the one I have stuck with for phone use and the reason is that it was clearly designed with mobile as a first-class experience rather than a responsive afterthought.
The Image-to-Image Transformation is the feature I use most on mobile. I take a photo, something I see that has interesting light or composition or texture, and use it as a base for the AI to reimagine in a different style. The Adjustable Influence Slider controls how much the AI departs from the original photo versus following it closely. On the Weak end you get dramatic interpretation. On the Strong end the AI stays close to the composition and structure of your photo.
For 30 seconds of processing time the results are consistently usable. Not everything is great but the hit rate is high enough that I am not regenerating constantly.
The style range covers Synthwave, Steampunk, Fantasy Art and a lot more. Switching styles on the same prompt or photo gives you very different aesthetic directions quickly, which is useful when you are exploring rather than executing a specific brief.
The social sharing and community feed are well integrated. Seeing what styles and prompts other people are using successfully is a fast way to understand what the tool does well.
