Dream by Wombo is the most beginner-friendly AI art generator I have tried, here is the honest review
I have played around with Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly. They are all powerful but they all have a learning curve. Dream by Wombo is on a different end of the spectrum and that is actually its strength depending on what you are trying to do.
The interface is simple. You type a description up to 200 characters, pick an art style from a pretty wide list including Realistic V2 and Expressionism, and it generates. On the free version you get one image at a time. Premium gives you four options per generation so you can pick the best one.
You can upload a reference photo and use an Influence slider to control how much the AI leans on it when generating, which is great if you have a specific composition in mind. The Make Variations feature lets you take an image you like and generate more in the same direction. There is also a download option for a video of the generation process itself which is a nice touch for sharing on social.
Limitations worth knowing: it only generates vertical images, there is no 16:9 option which is annoying if you need landscape format. The Edit with Text feature that lets you modify a generated image with new instructions is still pretty rough and inconsistent.
