Cryptohopper vs 3Commas, what I actually learned from running both

Spent about three months running both platforms simultaneously on small allocations before deciding where to commit properly. My takeaway is different from most comparison articles because I actually used them rather than reviewing feature lists.

Short version of what I found:

- Cryptohopper's interface is genuinely easier to start with. If you have never run a bot before, you will be faster to a live setup here

- 3Commas has more depth once you know what you are doing. The smart trade terminal is useful for manual traders who also want automation

- Pricing is similar at comparable feature levels, but 3Commas gets expensive faster if you need multiple bots

Neither is universally better. The right answer actually depends on how much you want to learn versus how quickly you want to get something running.
