Bardeen changed how I do prospect research, took me a week to set up, worth every hour
I do lead gen for a small B2B agency. A lot of my time used to go into manually pulling data from LinkedIn, websites, putting it into sheets, cross-referencing things. All of it was repetitive and all of it was killing me.
Someone in another forum mentioned Bardeen so I gave it a go. It's a Chrome extension, free to start, you just install it from bardeen.ai and it lives in your browser.
The thing that changed my workflow most is the Scraper Templates. You can pull structured data directly off web pages into a Google Sheet. I set one up to extract property details from a research site and it just... worked. The setup took maybe 20 minutes once I understood the interface.
There are two types of automations: Playbooks (you trigger them manually, one click) and Autobooks (they fire automatically based on a schedule or an event like receiving a specific email). I mostly use Playbooks for now but the scheduled ones are next on my list to figure out.
The Magic Box is worth playing with, you describe what you want to automate in plain language and it tries to build the workflow for you. It doesn't always get it perfect but it gets you 70% of the way there.
Integrations include Google Sheets, Gmail, HubSpot, Notion and a bunch more. The team collaboration features are there if you need them too.
