Veed.io has an Eye Contact Correction feature that makes it look like I am looking at the camera when I am reading notes

Specific feature post because I think this one is genuinely underappreciated.

I present and facilitate a lot of online sessions. My quality issue was always the same: I look at my notes or my second screen during sessions and the camera view shows me looking off to the side rather than at the audience. Everyone knows it is normal to have notes. It still reads as disengaged compared to someone who appears to be looking directly at the viewer.

Veed.io's Eye Contact Correction uses AI to adjust the speaker's gaze in the recorded video so they appear to be looking directly at the camera regardless of where their eyes were actually focused during recording. You record normally, you look at your notes or your script, and the processed video makes you look like you were making eye contact throughout.

For any recorded content where presence and engagement matter, training videos, online course recordings, webinar replays, this is the difference between looking polished and looking like you were reading. The effect is subtle enough that it does not look manipulated. It just looks like a presenter who was fully present.

The AI Script-to-Video feature is separately useful for generating entire video drafts from a text script with stock footage and voiceover when you do not want to be on camera at all. Those are opposite use cases and having both in the same tool covers the full range.

The Auto-Subtitles with 100-plus language translation handles the accessibility and international distribution step.

The reading-versus-present distinction in on-camera communication is real and viewers notice it even when they cannot articulate why. A presenter who appears to be looking directly at you reads as confident and engaged. One who appears to be looking away reads as uncertain or disinterested even when the content is the same. A tool that removes that signal from recorded content without requiring the presenter to change their behavior is genuinely useful.

The Auto Subtitle feature producing captions in over 100 languages from your video's audio being the distribution accessibility feature that changes how many viewers can engage with your content without additional translation effort is the reach expansion worth enabling as a default rather than as an optional extra. Videos with accurate captions are accessible to deaf and hard of hearing viewers, watchable in sound-sensitive environments and more likely to be watched to completion by viewers who...

The eye contact reading as confidence and presence being a signal that viewers calibrate to quickly without conscious awareness is a communication insight worth understanding broadly. Viewers are not typically thinking "they looked away there." They are accumulating an impression of engagement and authority that is partly constructed from eye contact patterns. A presenter who maintains consistent camera eye contact throughout reads as more certain and more present even to viewers who cannot arti...
