Veed.io is the browser-based video editor I switched to after getting tired of installing and updating desktop software

I make content for several social channels and the format requirements are different for each. The same piece of content needs to be widescreen for YouTube, vertical for TikTok and Reels and square for some other platforms. The resizing and reformatting step used to eat more time than I wanted to give it. Veed.io runs entirely in the browser and the one-click resizing between formats is the feature I use most. You record or upload a widescreen video and convert it to vertical with one click. It handles the crop intelligently rather than just cutting off the sides. For multi-platform content that alone justifies the tool. The AI auto-subtitle generation is accurate enough that I rarely need to correct more than a handful of words per video. The subtitle styling and animation options are extensive so they actually fit the visual style of the content rather than looking like an afterthought. Multi-language subtitle support handles international versions without a separate transcription step. The Clean Audio feature removes background noise and enhances voice clarity with a single click. I shoot a lot of content in non-ideal audio environments and this has become part of my standard processing step before anything goes up. AI Avatars and text-to-speech are built in for content that does not require real footage. Screen and webcam recording work directly in the browser without installing anything. The stock media library covers footage, music, sound effects and animated elements. The fact that it is browser-based means no installation, no version management, no compatibility issues across machines. For the kind of content workflow I run that is a genuine quality-of-life improvement.
