WhatAI Build-Off #01 puts two leading AI website builders head to head. Lovable and Bolt.new each received the exact same creative brief: design a launch night party invitation for AFTER//PROMPT, a fictional WhatAI Launch Night. Neither builder got extra clarification or special treatment.
Visitors can open both finished invitations, compare the results, and cast one RSVP design vote for the build they would actually respond to. Voting also unlocks the full creative prompt, build details, and the live score between the two builders.
A Fair Comparison
Both builders competed under identical conditions, so the vote reflects the quality of each design rather than any difference in process.
The challenge: design a launch night party invitation.
Shared prompt rule: both got the exact same brief.
Voting method: one design vote per visitor.
No registration: RSVPs are design votes only.
An RSVP on this page is a design vote for your preferred invitation. It is not an event registration, and there is no real event to attend.
The Challenge
Each builder was asked to create a complete invitation website for AFTER//PROMPT, a fictional WhatAI Launch Night invented for this challenge. The invitation had to stand on its own as a finished page that sets the tone for the event and invites a design vote RSVP.
Shared Prompt Rule
Lovable and Bolt.new received the same creative brief, word for word, and each had to produce the best result it could without any further creative clarification. The full brief stays locked until you cast a vote on the challenge page, which keeps the comparison fair for every new visitor.
Lovable Build
Invitation A is the Lovable response to the shared brief. It was generated from the same creative prompt as the other build, with no extra guidance and no follow up clarification. Review the finished invitation and judge the design on its own merits.
Invitation B is the Bolt.new response to the shared brief. It was generated from the same creative prompt as the other build, with no extra guidance and no follow up clarification. Review the finished invitation and judge the design on its own merits.
The full story behind each invitation is unlocked by voting. After casting an RSVP design vote, visitors can reveal the complete creative prompt both builders received, each builder's build time, the creator's observations from running the challenge, the live vote results, and a poll to help choose what AI should build next. Locked sections stay locked until a vote is cast, and every visitor gets one vote.
