About Unitree G1
Unitree G1 assists researchers, educators, developers, and early adopters by enabling experimentation with agile movement, manipulation, and AI-driven tasks. The workflow involves programming via ROS/SDK, training motions through imitation or reinforcement learning, testing in lab or controlled environments, and iterating with modular upgrades. Primarily used for robotics research, education, motion studies, light task prototyping, and affordable humanoid development. Multiple configurations and upgrade paths are available, from basic models to EDU versions with enhanced computing.
