Threads cover the current platforms and how they differ, locomotion and balance progress, manipulation and dexterity which remains the harder problem, the foundation models being applied to whole-body control, battery life and the duty cycles rarely mentioned in announcements, and unit economics.
Reading demos critically is a recurring skill here. Teleoperation is sometimes disclosed and sometimes not. Cuts hide reset time. Controlled environments hide the generalisation problem. Members who can identify what a video is not showing add a lot of value.
