AI investing tools attract more marketing noise than almost any other category, so this one is worth entering with your scepticism intact.
The tools that hold up are usually the unglamorous ones. Filing and report summarisation, screening and filtering, earnings call analysis, news and sentiment aggregation, and portfolio review and rebalancing assistance. They compress research time rather than predict outcomes, which is a smaller claim and a more defensible one.
The tools that promise returns deserve harder questions, and members here ask them. Backtests that were not run out of sample, survivorship bias, and results that quietly stop being reported are recurring themes.
This category is for discussing tools, not for recommendations on what to buy or sell. Nothing here is financial advice, past performance does not indicate future results, and anything material is worth discussing with a licensed adviser who knows your situation.
