Tactiq transcribes meetings in real time and lets you build custom AI prompts for what you extract from them
I have used a few meeting transcription tools and the basic capability, transcription plus a summary plus action items, is now table stakes. What differentiates Tactiq for me is the Custom AI Kits feature and I want to explain what that actually means before getting to the rest of it.
Custom AI Kits let you create your own prompts that run against the transcript after the meeting. You define what you want extracted, Sales Objections raised in this call, HR Feedback themes, Technical Requirements mentioned, whatever is specific to your context, and it runs that extraction automatically rather than giving you a generic summary. For anyone who has a recurring meeting type where they need consistent structured output, that customization makes the tool meaningfully more useful than the default summary every other tool provides.
The real-time transcription works across Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams with speaker identification. The AI summaries using GPT-4 are accurate enough that I rarely need to re-read the full transcript for a standard call.
The YouTube and file upload transcription extends the utility beyond live meetings. I use it to transcribe recorded webinars and audio files I need notes from, which makes it more of a general transcription tool than something only useful during meetings.
The collaborative workspace lets you share transcripts with team members, highlight important sections, add comments and organize everything into Spaces. Exports go directly to Notion, Slack, Google Docs and HubSpot without a manual copy-paste step.
