The .orbx export workflow is the critical step that the tutorial covers well. Getting the scene packaged correctly including all textures and assets before upload is where most first-timers run into issues.

Pre-flight checks before upload save time and money. The portal catches most configuration issues before you commit to a render job.

Cost efficiency compared to centralized render farms was better than I expected. For medium-complexity scenes the difference is meaningful. For very complex scenes with huge texture sizes the network overhead starts to matter more.

Would cost savings from Render make you switch from your current rendering setup for production work?

For anyone doing client work with billable render time: the documentation trail that comes with Render Network jobs, the job ID, the node assignments, the completion timestamps, is actually useful for client invoicing. It provides verifiable evidence of compute time spent that is harder to produce from a local render setup where you are essentially taking your own word for it. Small administrative benefit but worth knowing about.
