Its platform combines an AI Co-Builder, Softr Databases, a visual block editor, Vibe Coding for custom AI-generated components, Workflows, Forms, granular permissions, Ask AI, Database AI Agents and the new Softr Agents introduced in August 2026. Softr apps can also act as permission-aware MCP servers so users can work with app data from supported AI assistants. Softr is strongest when a business needs a governed web application around structured data and workflows without building and maintaining a conventional custom software stack.
