Bardeen has a Temperature Control setting for AI creativity that I have not seen in any other automation tool
I use a lot of automation tools for go-to-market work and I want to write about a specific Bardeen feature that I think most people using it have not discovered yet.
The Temperature Control setting in the AI steps of a playbook lets you adjust how creative or literal the AI output is on a slider. Low temperature produces consistent, precise output that closely follows the instructions. High temperature produces more varied and creative results. For different automation use cases that matters significantly. A playbook that categorizes support tickets wants low temperature for consistency. A playbook that generates personalized LinkedIn outreach wants higher temperature for variety.
The System Instructions feature in the same panel gives the AI deep context that applies across the whole playbook rather than just the current step. So you can define who the company is, who the audience is, what the tone should be, and every AI step in the chain operates with that context rather than you having to repeat it in each individual prompt.
The Multi-Step Playbooks are where this comes together. You can chain scraping a list from a website, categorizing the results with AI, generating personalized messages based on those categories and pushing them to a CRM in a single automated sequence. The Temperature and System Instructions controls make the AI steps in that chain produce usable output rather than generic noise.
The AI Tools suite also handles extracting text from images and PDFs, summarizing long documents and generating content which covers a wider range of GTM workflows than just web scraping.
