Set up an ASI One AI agent faster than I expected, walk through inside

Was expecting the agent setup process to be developer-level complicated. It is not.

The accessibility is genuinely good. If you can navigate a normal web app you can get an agent running. The capabilities available immediately after setup are more limited than the long-term roadmap promises but they are functional enough to be useful rather than just demo-ware.

Main question I came away with: how much of the agent capability expands as the network grows versus what is available now? The current state is promising but the value proposition scales significantly with network effects.

Anyone actively using AI agents on ASI? Curious what use cases people are finding most practical.

The delivered versus promised milestone comparison you suggested is the most honest accountability metric and I would extend it further: check whether the things they delivered were delivered on the announced timeline or significantly delayed. A project that eventually delivers but consistently misses timing commitments has a different execution culture than one that delivers on schedule. Both are different from one that makes promises and does not follow through at all. The pattern across multi...

The most practically useful thing I would want to know about ASI One beyond the setup experience: what is the most complex real task a current user has successfully delegated to an agent and what did the execution look like in practice. Not the most impressive demo task. The most complex thing a normal user with a real use case has actually run. That benchmark tells you more about current practical capability than any feature description.

The "accessible setup but limited current capability" combination is actually a healthy early-stage product state. Accessible setup means the user base can grow to provide real usage data. Limited capability means there is a clear development roadmap that the growing user base creates demand for. The unhealthy version is inaccessible setup that limits user base growth, which produces a development roadmap without real usage feedback. ASI One seems to be in the healthier state of those two option...
